LaWaha Refund and Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: January 2025
This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which LaWaha ("we", "us", or "our") issues refunds for yoga classes, wellness programs, online programs, and events booked through our platform or in person.

1. SLEEP OPTIMIZATION ONLINE PROGRAM
1.1 Program Overview
The Sleep Optimization Online Program is a digital wellness program providing education, guidance, and resources to improve sleep quality.
1.2 Refund Eligibility for Sleep Online Program
- Full refund available if cancellation is made within 7 days of purchase AND before accessing more than 20% of the program content
- No refund available once 20% or more of the program modules, videos, or materials have been accessed or downloaded
- Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of purchase
1.3 What Counts as "Accessed Content"
- Watching/streaming any video content
- Downloading any program materials or worksheets
- Completing any program modules or assessments
- Accessing exclusive member resources
1.4 Technical Issues
- If you experience technical difficulties preventing access to the program, please contact us immediately at lawaha.goa@gmail.com
- We will work to resolve technical issues within 48 hours
- If issues cannot be resolved within 5 business days, a full refund will be provided
1.5 Program Updates and Changes
- LaWaha reserves the right to update program content and materials
- Existing participants will receive all updates at no additional cost
- Updates or improvements do not qualify as grounds for refund

2. CLASS PACKAGES AND MEMBERSHIPS
2.1 Drop-In Classes
- Non-refundable once the class has commenced
- Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance may receive a full refund or credit for a future class
- No-shows will not be refunded
2.2 Class Packages (Multi-Class Passes)
- Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase for unused packages
- Packages with no classes attended are eligible for a refund minus a 10% processing fee
- Packages with partial usage are eligible for a pro-rata refund (for unused classes only) minus a 15% processing fee, if requested within 14 days of purchase
- Packages expire as per the validity period stated at purchase and are non-refundable after expiry
2.3 Monthly/Multi-Week Passes
- Full refund available if cancellation is made within 48 hours of purchase and before attending any classes
- After the 48-hour window or after attending any class, refunds will be calculated on a pro-rata basis for the unused portion, minus a 20% administrative fee
- No refunds after 50% of the validity period has elapsed

3. WORKSHOPS, EVENTS, AND SPECIAL PROGRAMS
3.1 Ice Bath Experiences, Breathwork Sessions & Special Events
- Full refund if cancelled 7 days or more before the scheduled event
- 50% refund if cancelled 3-6 days before the event
- No refund for cancellations made within 72 hours (3 days) of the event
- In case of event cancellation by LaWaha, participants will receive a full refund or credit for a future event
3.2 Workshops and Extended Programs
- Full refund if cancelled 14 days or more before the program start date
- 50% refund if cancelled 7-13 days before the program start date
- No refund for cancellations made within 7 days of the program start date

4. ELIGIBILITY FOR REFUNDS
Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:
4.1 Medical or Emergency Situations
- Medical emergencies supported by a doctor's certificate may qualify for a refund or credit, assessed on a case-by-case basis
- Family emergencies will be considered with appropriate documentation
4.2 Service Unavailability
- If LaWaha cancels a class, event, or program, participants will receive a full refund or credit for an equivalent service
- In case of unexpected closures lasting more than 3 consecutive days, unused portions of packages or memberships may be eligible for extension or partial refund
4.3 Incorrect or Accidental Bookings
- Refund requests for accidental or incorrect charges must be reported within 48 hours of the transaction
- Proof of the error may be required for processing
4.4 Weather and External Circumstances
- Classes may be moved indoors or rescheduled due to weather conditions
- No refunds will be issued for weather-related schedule changes if an alternative is provided
- In case of natural disasters or government-mandated closures, credits or extensions will be offered

5. NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS
The following are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:
- Classes or events already attended or completed
- Online program content that has been accessed beyond the stated limits
- Expired class packages or memberships
- Promotional or discounted packages (unless otherwise stated)
- No-shows without prior cancellation
- Credits or packages transferred to another person
- Refund requests made after 30 days of the original purchase date

6. CREDITS AND TRANSFERS
6.1 Class Credits
- In lieu of refunds, we may offer credits for future classes, valid for 90 days from the date of issue
- Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable
6.2 Package Transfers
- Unused class packages may be transferred to another person with prior written notice
- A transfer fee of ₹200 may apply
- Once transferred, the package is non-refundable
6.3 Online Program Access Transfers
- Online program access is non-transferable and tied to the purchaser's account
- Sharing login credentials violates our terms of service

7. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND OR CANCELLATION
To request a refund or cancellation, please:

Please provide:
- Your full name and contact information
- Booking/transaction reference number or receipt
- Date of purchase and service details
- Reason for the refund request
- Supporting documentation (if applicable, e.g., medical certificate)

8. REFUND PROCESSING TIME
- Refund requests will be reviewed within 3-5 business days of receipt
- Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 7-10 business days
- For payments made via Razorpay, refund timelines may vary based on your bank's processing time (typically 5-7 business days from approval)
- You will receive a confirmation email once your refund has been processed

9. PAYMENT GATEWAY COMPLIANCE
All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. For any payment-related queries or disputes, please refer to Razorpay's terms and conditions or contact our support team.
We comply with all applicable Indian consumer protection laws and Razorpay's refund policies.

10. CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES
- Important: Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting LaWaha may result in the suspension of your account and loss of access to classes and services
- We encourage you to contact our team directly to resolve any payment concerns before involving your bank or payment provider
- Fraudulent chargebacks may result in legal action and permanent ban from our services

11. MODIFICATIONS TO CLASSES AND SERVICES
- LaWaha reserves the right to modify class schedules, substitute instructors, or change class locations with reasonable notice
- Such changes do not automatically qualify for refunds, though we will make every effort to provide suitable alternatives
- Participants will be notified of significant changes via email or phone

12. CHANGES TO THIS REFUND POLICY
- LaWaha reserves the right to update this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time

- Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy
- Significant changes will be communicated via email to registered members

13. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
In the event of any disputes regarding refunds or cancellations:

3. Jurisdiction will be with the courts of Goa, India
